Gabrielle is a Clinical Research Fellow working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
She is currently studying for a DPhil in Paediatrics at Brasenose College, Oxford. Her research involves using electroencephalography (EEG) and other measures to investigate sensory development in preterm infants and the role of sepsis.
Before moving to Oxford in 2009 to work as a junior doctor, she completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Cambridge. She started Paediatric Specialty training in 2011 before taking the role of Clinical Research Fellow in 2013.
Gabrielle hopes that increased understanding of sensory development in preterm infants can help improve neurodevelopmental outcomes in this vulnerable group.
